Concept project
A self-directed concept by theoddtail, built to show how we bring a full brand world to a product's hardest category to shoot.
A watch brand that treats titanium as the whole story, hard light and one bold colour, imagery that sells the object before the price.
(Research)
We start from the brand's one true idea, here, brushed titanium restraint, and build a visual language around it: colour world, lighting rule, product form, styling discipline. The look is decided before anything is generated, so the set feels directed, not stumbled into.
(Experiment)
Then we push the product into scenes a physical shoot would charge a premium for: seamless saturated coves, hard gobo-patterned light, controlled reflections on titanium and glass. Watches are the hardest category to shoot, reflective, precise, unforgiving, and that is exactly the point.
